We went to Whistler, BC for Thanksgiving this year! Julie (Jake's mom and Madeline's Nana) took the trip with us. It was so cold and snowy, and completely beautiful.

Jake and I were in Whistler our first year in the northwest - so back in 2006! It had been five years, and since then the winter Olympics have been held there.
Whistler has the sweetest village full of fun stores and great restaurants. Even though it was freezing and I couldn't feel my toes, I wanted to keep exploring. We only went back in the room to get Madeline down for a nap.
The moose got a stink eye from a certain young lady whenever she passed by.
There was an adorable tree house/playground right by the Olympic plaza.It was Madeline's favorite place.
The sun was starting to set and it was getting cold fast, so we were heading back to the hotel. Girlfriend threw a FIT and wiggled so much that her daddy let her gently slip into the cushion of snow below. She plopped in the snow and immediately stopped crying. Madeline just started scooping the snow into her mouth. Totally content eating snow.
