Maybe it was a little much... but I enjoyed making it for her. And once she had it on, Madeline was all about it.

We went to probably 6 houses. She was sooo shy. Even though we practiced saying trick-or-treat, she just couldn't make anything out when people answered their doors. Madeline was definitely excited to get that candy though! And every time other kids were getting near, she would stop in the middle of the sidewalk and as they got closer she would start waving, saying a quiet but excited "hi." Such a sweet girl.
