What the little miss is doing these days

Oh, Madeline. You are now 9 months, 2 weeks and 5 days old. I still haven't figured out a way to stop you from growing up, but I have to say that each day is better than the one before. You are just so... freakin cool! Every day is something new and interesting. Here are some fun things that you do these days:
You know how to put your paci in your mouth.
You can sit up for long periods of time. If I walk by, you grab my leg really tight.
You sometimes sleep on your side and it's really funny looking.
You still love to "discover" things by using your pointer fingers to touch.
You get really excited and wave your arms fast, which sometimes results in mama and dada getting smacked upside the head.
You are starting to eat people food. Tonight, we ALL had left over chicken rice broccoli casserole (yours was ground up in the food processor).
You LOVE standing up and holding on to the sofa... toys...people...anything you can get your hands on. BUT we have to be there to hold on to you because you fall all of the time. Mrs Amanda is teaching you to fall gracefully, but you don't quite have it down pat just yet.
You are this close to crawling! Agh!
You still love your exersaucer and bouncy chair. Good God what would we ever do without them?
You have more clothes than mama, and you will be all grown out of them in a couple of months.
You love to eat, but you aren't as chubby as you used to be. I need to chunk you back up!
You love to give kisses. You reach out, grab faces, and pull 'em in to give a big open mouthed sloppy kiss.
You still just have the bottom two teeth; they are a bit longer now though.
You want to talk so badly! You say dada when you want you daddy, you say dadadada allll of the time, and you say mama when you want me! You babble constantly. You try to say doggie, but usually it just comes out like dawh! You also said puh puh (the P sound) a couple days ago when I asked if you poo-pooed. You sing in the car with mama all of the time.
You are really enjoying your baths nowadays. It's definitely one of your favorite things to do. And yes, you usually peepee in the water.
You like being outside and love wind in your face. You get sooo excited and do that thing where you kick and wave your hands really fast.
You want to eat and drink whatever daddy and I are eating and drinking.
You like cheerios, puffs, and kix.
Peekaboo is sooo fun for you.
You don't love books, but you kind of like the touchy feely books. Mainly you like to try and eat the books.
You love dogs.
When it comes to people you haven't met before, you do better with men than women. I don't know if it's because you have had so many women wanting to hold you at once that it scares you, or if you are drawn to the deep voices?
You are a total mama's girl (yes!)
I asked your daddy what I was missing on the list, and he said - she likes the NRA. I said - ummm, huh? He looks at me as if I should know this and says, she donates, and she took a picture with the NRA hat on. Ohhh your dad... God help you if you don't have a brother one day.
