St Simons - the last night

To say that I take lots of pictures would be an understatement. I took over 1000 pictures while we were in Georgia last week. That's normal for me. However, I am awful at taking pictures of Madeline with the important people in her life. I usually just take pictures of her with whatever she is doing. Nothing is staged. SO I made a point last week to take lots of pictures of Madeline with her Gramma and Grand-dadeo. After the first two pictures of her making absolutely pitiful faces, there are the ones of Madeline and her St Simons Island Grandparents.

Bill and Dar - thanks for having us last week. Spending the fourth with you and our friends is always a very special time; we are already looking forward to our 2012 visit. Seeing Madeline's face drop as we started packing our suitcases in the car on our last day...
It's safe to say that she is looking forward to next year as well. We love you!

St Simons - Day 5 - back to the beach!

Gramma got Madeline a sweet little bikini that had to make a beach debut,
so on our second to last day, Jake and I went back to the beach.

My goodness. Look at that belly!

St Simons - Day 3 - later in the afternoon

After a little nap, she was ready to go to the pool. The bubbles were a hit, and then later that evening, Grand-dadeo took her on a tractor ride. He quickly became her new best friend.

St Simons - Day 3 - she meets the Atlantic

Brittney and I took Madeline to the beach to meet the mighty Atlantic ocean.

It was love at first sight.

Seeing this face... makes me want to pack up everything and move to the beach.
