2 Months Old

Madeline is changing so fast. In just the past two week she has really started "talking" and smiling like crazy!!! I love it and wish she would stay like this for a while. Don't get me wrong - I'm so excited to see every new stage of this little lady's life, I just wish it would go by a little slower.

Dr Appointment

At the doctor today, we found out that Madeline weighs 11 pounds and 14 ounces and she is 23" tall!! She is a big girl - in the 90th percentile for baby girls her same age.

When I nurse Madeline, I talk to her, and tonight I was saying I Love You over and over again. She unlatched about midway through, looked me in the eye and said-
Gghhgghhooooo! And then she smiled.
Then I said I love you. And again I hear Gghhgghhooooo, followed by a smile. And we did that 2 more times before our conversation was over. I think she was trying to say I love you. :)

up until now

Some of my sweetest pictures of Madeline were shot with my iPhone. Usually when Madeline starts doing something cute, I will tell Jake - HURRY GET THE CAMERA! But as soon as the camera is ready to go, Madeline is doing something different. So I end up taking more pictures with my phone than anything else. I have lots of fuzzy pictures but they are all pretty stinkin cute. Here are a few of my favorites.
